I agree. I am unimpressed with DMC4. The camera & the old control scheme is ludicris. However, it may be worthy of a 7.5 - 8.0 type of score.
But, I will still enjoy playing it, even if it is antiquated.
I think teh Wii version has alittle more jaggies.

I dont know if it's really that bad of an idea. For me, the DMC4 demo was not very impressive at all (same story, camera & gameplay from 1984), the only games I really want right now is Dark Sector, Too Human, & Force Unleashed. I'll buy GTA IV most likely, but I'm not impressed by it either (not yet anyway). I know I'm in the minority, but IMHO GTA IV & DMC4 are not the best games coming out in 2008. I guess I like new IP's over the 4th installment's.
Actually, I see this as a good thing. HDD needs to be required for games. Yes, M$ should have made all consoles HDD equipt. But, I do not have any remorse for those who chose to buy a 360 without a HDD - to me, that is just a stupid move. And if you say you cant afford the HDD models, then how are you going to afford $60 games ? I wish Mass Effect had been HDD required, it probably would have fixed 90% of the glitches that title suffered from due to a lack of usable memory.

Gaming is ageless. Gears of War, KZ2, COD4, Mass Effect, & so many more games ARE & SHOULD BE for adults - not kids. Another commentor mentioned this article was written by a female. Makes sense, my girlfriend hates my 360 & even my guitar at times - Why ? Because it takes the attention away from her, IMHO.

Hmmm.. I agree with alot of the comments here. No doubt, BluRay discs cost more to manufactor, & the PS3 is most likely the most expensive console to develop for... but at $60 a game I don't think anyone's losing any money.
Whether it's more expensive to develop for is irrelivant to me when the same game is released on a rival console for $60. Even though I am a 360 fan, I see NO REASON a PS3 game should cost more than a 360 game, unless it includes something the 360 versi...
Dark Sector has alot of potential - my kind of game. I'll take the Gears' control system any day of the week, real cover is so much more realistic than FPS, melee is so much fun... hope they include MP. The artwork is cool too. Can't wait !

PS owners shouldnt have any interest in an Xbox 360 games unless they are considering purchasing a 360, as you are. But, To say that Too Human is "they type of games that the PS crowd are more interested in", I completely disagree with. That's like saying since KZ2 or COD4 is an FPS that only the "Xbox crowd" can be interested in it. Most gamers like different types of genres, as do I.

Played this last night co-oped with 3 friends, pretty fun, nice graphics for an arcade game: co-op is always welcome... HOWEVER...
This DOES NOT make up for all the XBL problems. Everyone has had a different experience I am sure, but for me, I couldn't play COD4 MP for 3 Freakin weeks !!! And over the F_cking Xmas holidays of all the times in the world to FAIL XBL picked a BAD TIME. Giving an arcade game in trade for 3 weeks of gaming over Xmas is not acceptable for me !

This article fails. An action or shooter type of game is dependant on gameplay. For massive Role Playing Games, story & dialogue, i.e. interaction with other characters, is THE most important element in an RPG. Second would be the leveling up system or tree provided to track your experience & reward your choices in all those dialogues & story driven elements. Gameplay would be 3rd at best for an RPG, in fact, graphics could be as important as gameplay for this particular genre. ...
Hmmm... I dont really see the point because I use rechargable batteries. The differences in rumble, controller shape & feel, analog stick quality, d-pad.... these features seem more worthy of comparison. But, in the end it's all a personal preference.
I like the 360's design, feel, & rumble... but the D-pad sucks. I did a mod on one my controllers to fix the issue though (you just sand the casing abit around the D-pad), now it's my "arcade" controller.
